Red notice is an American action comedy film , directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber ( long ass name ) the film starring Dwayne "the rock" Johnson ( i mean who does not like the Rock ) , Ryan Reynolds ( this movie is gonna fail xd ) and Gal Gadot , the movie follows John Harley an FBI agent who is investigating the potential theft of one bejeweled egg on display at the Museo Nazionale di Castel in Rome , the eggs were a gift given by the roman general Mark Antony to Egyptian queen Cleopatra during the 1st century BC ( must be super expensive ) , two eggs are founded by a farmer in 1907 while one remains missing , the roman eggs turns out to a fake and the real one was stolen by international art thief Nolan Booth , the movie is well done full of action , good plot , funny sequences and an amazing performance by the cast , an action packed movie that provides entertainment from the beginning to the end , a great heist movie but if i'm being honest it get a little bit predictable for some people it has no authentic story lines , it's like copying cliché scenes from James bond and mission impossible movies ( how many good spy action heist movie can you make , at one time it will become repetitive content , like this one . overall this is a fun movie to watch enjoy it .
2: DON'T LOOK UP ( 359.8 million views )
don't look up is a 2021 American apocalyptic political satire black comedy film ( Jesus say that again) written and directed by Adam Mckay , the movie follows two low-level astronomers who must go on a giant media tour to warn the world of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth ( wow how original haven't seen that before ) the movie features Leonardo DiCaprio , Jennifer Lawrence , Rob Morgan , Jonah Hill , Mark Rylance , Tyler Perry ,Timothée Chalamet , and Ariana Grande ( a cast that will make any movie successful except this one which was a massive box office disaster , making only 791,000 USD out of 75 million USD budget ( now that's what you call a catastrophe ) the movie got mixed reviews from people who think the plot drags or it is even a copy of "The Stepford Wives" to other who say it is a fantastic and hilarious movie , if you are a fan of satire or enjoy Saturday night live , this is the movie for you . the movie is so shockingly nonsensical , the characters are so banal , no originality what so ever , boring as hell you will actually be cheering for the meteor to come and end it all , taking you as well in the process , the movie is extremely annoying and unpleasant in a way that is difficult to bear , should have name it don't look at this garbage of a movie , overall this movie did great in Netflix not so much in box office , check it out you might enjoy it .
3: BIRD BOX ( 282 million views)
Bird box is an American post-apocalyptic horror thriller movie ( sounds fun) directed by Susanna Bier and written by Eric Heisserer , the movie is based on a 2014 novel of the same name , by Josh Malerman , the film follows Sandra Bullock who is playing a character called Malorie Hayes as she tries to protect herself and two children from entities that cause people who look at them to kill themselves ( now this i have never seen before , and i don't wanna if i'm honest) , the film is set in a post-apocalyptic situation where people must be blindfolded to survive the aliens attack ( that sucks but just looking at the world today makes me want to end it all no aliens needed ), you don't get to see the creatures all you can see is a black shadow with a strong wind , but it just enough to keep the audience engaged and at the edge of their seats for a 90 min captivating triller , Sandra Bullock the academy award winning actress did an amazing job , it is not easy to make picture-perfect emotional close up shots , but Sandra managed to pull it off , the editing work and sound design was on point , the movie goes back and forth on the flashback sequence and the present time , make sure to watch this movie with a good sound system to have an even better experience , overall Bird Box is definitely worth watching you will be satisfied watching the story unfold it self , enjoy
4:THE ADAM PROJECT ( 233.2 million views)
The Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds has been experiencing a prolonged spell of success and good luck lately , with every movie he touches turns successful , The Adam project is a 2022 American science fiction actin comedy film ( my god that was long , no complains though xd ) the film is produced by Skydance media , Maximum Effort , and 21 laps Entertainment , it was directed by Shawn levy from a screen play written by Jonathan Tropper and three other people , the movie stars Ryan Reynolds , Mark Ruffalo , Jennifer Garner , and Zoe Saldana , it follows a time-travelling fighter pilot Adam Reed while he teams up with his 12 years-old self ( well if you need a teammate why not yourself , i mean who can understand you better than you ) for a mission to save the future after an unfortunate crash landing in 2022 , this movie is beautifully well done , the cinematography , the characters with an amazing story ( for once ) with great scripting and direction , it had the right amount of every thing , emotion/ seriousness / and comical relief , nothing feels forced everything flows like water ,the actors were superb ( duh! what did you expect from this amazing cast ) , i and a lot of people was genuinely pleased and impressed by this fine work , for some people though this was a bad mediocre movie an absolute waste of time , the dialogue is terrible and the plot is boring and so predictable , it did not add or say any thing new in the Sci-fi or time travel genre basically same old shit . but you will never know until you experience it yourself so go ahead and enjoy or don't this awesome movie .
5: EXTRACTION (231.3 million views )
Extraction is a 2020 American action thriller film , which was directed by Sam Hargrave ( wonderful name ) and written by Joe Russo , the film is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks , the movie follows a black-market mercenary who has nothing to lose , as he was hired to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord ( who would kidnap the son of a crime lord , a bloody idiot would ) but it turns out to be a little be tricky in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers ( no shit, Sherlock) the already deadly mission approaches the impossible ,the movie had a budget of 65 million USD, the cast is good enough to make it an excellent block buster film but the story failed bigtime , it seems baseless and written by some novice random guy , the movie is so misleading and the only good thing about it is CHRIS Hemsworth , the movie got a lot of complains about it being not realistic enough and the falls representation of the country Bangladesh , however it was a massive success in the eyes of others , saying it was so refreshing seeing Chris Hemsworth outside of a marvel movie , the movie is well written well directed full of action from the get-go but paced with just the right amount of drama , one of the best action military movies made in a long time , very well done action combined with a clever setup in which a simple story is dropped , to sum up give this movie a chance you might like it .
